The 38,400-square-foot Red Rempson Memorial Expo Building, located on the Convention Center site, has been the scene of a variety of livestock and other agricultural exhibits. The Expo Center is the venue for the annual Washington County Mounted Sheriff Posse Horse Show and numerous other equestrian events. The Arena was named to honor a longtime judge for the Washington County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse. Red Rempson trained young and old alike for over 50 years before his death on August 6, 2010.
