Conventions and Meetings

Consider the Washington County Convention Center for your next business conference. Organizers of smaller conferences can use the convertible room, with a total capacity of 4200 square feet that can be partitioned into four smaller rooms for private staff meetings or training sessions.

A newly-remodeled executive hospitality suite features a projector screen and an ample conference table that can be removed to create space for chairs, small receptions, or seated dinners. The carpeted room also includes an area for use by catering services or for storage of catered meals and a serving bar for buffets.

For larger conferences or conventions, you’ll have use of the 25,000 square-foot Exhibit Hall, which can seat 3,500 attendees or accommodate 100 tables for a dinner meeting. The Convention Center is completely Wi-Fi accessible.

Convention speakers will have use of a 1500-square foot stage, audio system (four microphone hook-ups; cordless microphone, Samsung Cassette Deck, and CD changer), and lighting system (spotlights and stage lights with dimmer switches).

The Convention Center features an industrial kitchen with three industrial-sized sinks, two ovens, six-burner commercial stove, two freezers, two refrigerators, two deep-fat fryers, stove grill and warmer, commercial ice maker, microwave oven, and two tables. Also on the premises are eight bathrooms.

As we welcome numerous conventions, meetings and tradeshows to Washington County, we also encourage the discovery of Greenville and its environs as “the heart of the Delta,” where visitors will find exceptional museums, community theatre, gaming, historic sites, agricultural research labs, and numerous activities for sportsmen.
